Mack wins $3.86 million Army contract

Leading Queensland based truck manufacturer Mack Trucks Australia has won a $3.86 million contract to supply 21 vehicles to the Australian Army.

In the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania yesterday, Mack Trucks, Inc. announced the start of a cooperative agreement with the Federal Highway Administration to evaluate advanced safety systems to improve highway safety. The program includes a comprehensive field test involving 40 Mack vehicles owned by a leading tank carrier, McKenzie Tank Lines of Tallahassee, Florida.
